Quality and Design of Dualtron Compact Electric Scooter :
The Dualtron Compact is made of solid parts. The frame is made from 6082-T6 aluminum alloy – known as structural alloy while the shaft is steel. As a result, most of the electric scooter’s weight comes from the frame and not from the battery as it’s the case in the vast majority of other electric scooters. This makes the Dualtron Compact a durable device, capable of resisting to savage use from its owners. Despite it being thick and sturdy, the overall design looks minimal and elegant. If you want a powerful electric scooter but you don’t like those spartan designs you see in powerful electric scooters from other brands, this is exactly what you were looking for.
As we’ve just mentioned, most of the E-scooters’ weight comes from its frame which is quite heavy. Regarding this feature, the Dualtron Compact isn’t different from other models with similar features: you won’t find an electric scooter with these features that are lighter than this. The Dualtron Compact weighs 70 lbs: it’s a lot if you need to carry it up the stairs. If you need an electric scooter that you can easily bring with you on a bus, up the stairs, or put in your car trunk twice a day, this is not the most suitable device for you. This isn’t what this electric scooter is designed for, after all.
The Dualtron Compact features a foldable design: you can fold the stem on the deck, and the handgrips can be folded down so that, when you need to store it somewhere, it can occupy very little space.
The heavy frame offers a lot of advantages: stability, durability, and the possibility of carrying a lot of weight. The maximum load for this electric scooter is 265 lbs, which means that is suitable even for heavy riders, or for anyone who needs to carry heavy bags with them.

Handlebars
The Dualtron Compact has a straight handlebar with ergonomic and rubberized handgrips. The grip feels very comfortable and all the button and lever controls on the handlebar are positioned in a way that you can reach any of them without moving your hand from the handgrips or loosening your grip.
Two brake levers are positioned in front of each handgrip operates the front and rear brakes. They feel highly sensitive: you can slightly touch them to slow the electric scooter down gently, but they are also extremely reactive when you squeeze them abruptly to suddenly stop your device.
With the buttons on the left side, that you can push with your left thumb without shifting your hand, you can activate or deactivate the ECO mode (it reduces the speed so that you can lengthen the battery’s life span) and engage or disengage the second electric motor. The Dualtron Compact has two motors and you can choose whether to use only one (and limit the speed) or use both of them to unleash the full Dualtron Compact’s power. For example, if you need to climb a hill, or if you’re riding off-road, you may want to engage both motors. But if you are riding on the city’s busy roads, one motor would be more than enough since each one of them is highly powerful on their own.
On the right side of the handlebar, you have a useful LCD display that provides information on your riding: speed, speed mode, battery percentage, and more. The throttle is also located on the right side: it’s a small lever located just next to the display that you can pull with your index finger. As we’ve mentioned, all the controls are placed one next to the other, so that you can push the display buttons, pull the accelerator, and use the brake without shifting your hand once.
Lights
The Dualtron Compact is provided with a top-grade light system that, other than making the electric scooter look stylish, improves the device security by making it highly visible on the street even with poor light conditions. The light system is actually so sophisticated, that you’ll find a remote to control the light’s options included in the package.
- Dual headlights to improve the rider’s visibility;
- Tail and brake lights to signal your presence on the road to vehicles behind you.
- Stem light: the vertical steam can be enlightened with colored LED lights. The effect they made is very stylish, but this can be also extremely helpful when you ride on a busy road with poor light conditions. The other road users will have no difficulty seeing you.
Brakes
Dual Drum brakes with ABS are mounted on this electric scooter. They can be easily operated through the two brake levers on the handlebar (one activates the front brake and the other the rear one). Drum brakes are highly efficient, they provide excellent brake power and control over the device’s speed. They are very safe, guaranteeing proper functioning even when they are wet for any reason.
The ABS prevents the tires from locking, enhancing the overall safety of this electric scooter.
Tires
The Dualtron Compact features thick solid tires. Solid and pneumatic tires have different properties and each of them has its pros and cons. With the Dualtron Compact, MiniMotors wanted to merge the pros of the two types of tires. So, they have provided this electric scooter with solid tires (no maintenance required, and no risk of flat tires) with a shock absorption system capable of eliminating the known solid tire’s cons. Solid tires often provide uncomfortable riding, they can’t absorb the bumps and irregularity of the road. By proving this electric scooter with adjustable rubber suspension, this problem is eliminated. The riding on the Dualtron Compact feels stable and comfortable.
Deck & Kickstand
The Dualtron Compact features a large deck, excellent for comfort and stability. The surface is also covered with an anti-slip material that feels very durable over time. This electric scooter can be safe even with bad weather. Paddles or rain won’t be able to stop you.
A retractable kickstand lets you easily leave your electric scooter standing whenever you need to. This is far more convenient than having to fold and unfold it all the time, especially for such a heavy electric scooter.
Assembly
The Dualtron Compact comes folded and pretty much assembled. Tires are already in their place as well as the stem and handlebar. The handgrips are folded and need to be unfolded and secured, and the same is for the stem. Once you’ve checked that everything is firmly attached in this proper place, and after you’ve changed it, you’re basically ready to go with your new Dualtron Compact.
Performance for Dualtron Compact:
The Dualtron Compact is powerful and safe, and for these reasons, it can be used for any purpose. It is provided with two motors for a total of 3400 W power. You can either use both or only one of them. Even when you use only one of the motors, this electric scooter can reach a speed faster than most of the average devices. The nominal top speed is 49 mph. Nominal speeds are always referred to ideal riding conditions (light rider, flat and smooth terrains, gentle riding style…), but out tests revealed that even if you’re a little heavier and the surface you’re riding on isn’t smooth asphalt, the Dualtron Compact can easily reach a speed of 40 mph.
The Dualtron Compact can also climb hills effortlessly. When your ride off-road the powerful dual-motor lets you overcome any obstacle while the suspensions keep you in balance. The suspensions also do a rear job in providing comfort during a slow or fast ride on the road.
There are several ways of limiting the speed on your Dualtron Compact, and when you ride through the city, you definitely want to limit it. Riding at top speed through cars, pedestrians and other road users would be dangerous and this is exactly why changing between speed modes has been made as easy as pushing a button.
Battery life and charging time
The Dualtron Compact comes with a 60V 21 Ah Samsung Li-ion battery. It’s a powerful battery that provides energy for up to 49 miles (which is quite impressive) and takes a lot to be fully charged. Charging the electric scooter from empty to full with the stock charger can take up to 12 hours.
However, two charging ports are mounted on this electric scooter which means that you can cut the charging time in half. Furthermore, you can purchase a fast charger: when using this one, you’ll be able to charge the electric scooter in only 3 hours.

What we didn't like about Dualtron Compact Electric Scooter:
● It’s heavy
Powerful electric scooters are often heavy and this one is no exception.A heavy electric scooter isn’t always ideal for commuting but it depends on your usual path. If you don’t need to take it with you on a bus or train, and you don’t need to climb stairs on your way to work, you can still use the Dualtron Compact for commuting.
● Slow charging
While you can charge your electric scooter faster by purchasing a second charger or a fast charger (separately, therefore, with additional cost), 12 hours for having the Dualtron Compact charged with the standard charger is too much.
Conclusion
The Dualtron Compact Electric Scooter may not be the cheapest electric scooter available, but it’s one of the best. Seen all its amazing features, there is no more doubt: it is totally worth the price!
