As electric scooters are becoming more and more popular in the streets of every city in the world, their technology is also becoming more and more advanced.
Next to those affordable commuting electric scooters that respect the speed limits, there are models that are powerful, fast, and sturdy. Of course, they are also more expensive. The electric scooters we’re reviewing in this article, the Dualtron Victor, for example, costs more than $2000. But is it worth it?

Quality and Design of Dualtron Victor Electric Scooter :
The Dualtron Victor doesn’t have the usual design of electric scooters: it’s bulkier, with a larger deck and visible suspension and thick tires. You can guess, just by looking at it, that it’s powerful and expensive. It also looks heavy, and it’s heavy!
If you’re searching for an electric scooter that you can easily fold and carry with you on the bus, this isn’t the one for you: it’s big, large, and it weighs 72 lbs. On the other hand, the extra weight is due to a strong structure and powerful battery: this is the electric scooter for anyone who wants – or need – to ride off-roads, who need to cover long distances, and also for heavy riders: it can carry a maximum load of 265 lbs.
As we’ve mentioned, this is a big electric scooter (111 x 60.9 x 124.7 cm when folded, 111 x 27.9 x 56 cm when unfolded); for this reason, other than folding the stem on the deck, the handlebar is also foldable so that you can narrow down the space that it occupies when you fold it or transport it in your car truck or somewhere else.
Unfortunately, this electric scooter isn’t waterproof: you don’t have to use it in wet conditions if you don’t want to damage it. It’s a shame that such an expensive device doesn’t have this feature, but you need to avoid any kind of water. When it’s not raining but the ground is still wet and puddled, leave your Dulatron Victor at home!
Handlebars
The Dualtron Victor Electric Scooter features a straight handlebar with rubber handgrips. The display is on the right side of the handlebar, attached to the throttle. All the other controllers are distributed on the handlebar and mainly on the right side.
You only have a couple of buttons on your left to control lights and eco mode, while on the right side you have the throttle, that you can pull and release with your index finger, and the display with its buttons. On this side, you also have a button that you can use to switch between the three gears that this electric scooter provides.
Brake levers are instead located on both sides, just in front of each handgrip, since they control both the rear and front brakes.
Tires and suspensions
The Dualtron Victor’s tires are premium… probably, the best tires you can find on an electric scooter, especially for one of such power. They are 10-inch wide and 3-inch thick pneumatic tube tires.
They can provide the best balance and comfort, even at top speed. They are also suitable for both on-road and off-road paths. Some off-road tires aren’t comfortable on asphalt or smooth floors. These once, instead, are the perfect balance between grip and comfort.
The comfort and balance both on and off-road are also enhanced by the front and rear suspensions. Bumps and irregularities of the street aren’t a problem for this electric scooter – and this is also a reason for which it’s also more secure than many other cheaper models.
The tube frame also makes it easy to dismount and replace tires when needed.
Lights
The Victor Electric Scooter by Dualtron is well equipped when it comes to lights: it has a powerful headlight (no need to buy and mount an additional one, like sometimes it happens even with the most expensive models!). There are also taillights that are extremely important to make you visible on the street. There are also LEDs under the deck that – other than providing a particular colored effect – contribute to enhancing your visibility on the street.
Deck and kickstand
The Dualtron Victor features an extra-large deck. It feels comfortable and doesn’t affect the scooter agility, not even around narrow corners.
The surface is provided with three different anti-slip lines that are highly effective. Even when your shoes are wet, you can feel a strong grip on the deck.
This electric scooter, just like any other electric scooter on the market today, features a retractable kickstand. However, in this electric scooter, because it’s bulky and heavy, its presence is even more important, since folding it anytime you need to leave can become too much of an effort.
Brakes
The Dualtron Victor features front and rear hydraulic brakes. These are the best quality brakes you can have on an electric scooter, since they are extremely powerful, highly responsive, and require low maintenance.
They feel highly responsive: when you gently pull the levers the electric scooter smoothly slows down accordingly. But they are also extremely powerful when you pull the levers hard for an emergency stop. These are the brakes needed for such a powerful and fast electric scooter.
Assembling
The Dualtron Victor comes pretty much assembled. The big and heavy box includes the instruction manual, the charger, the remote to customize the lights under the deck, and the scooter itself.
The scooter is already assembled: tires are in their place, and so is the handlebar (you’ll just need to unfold it). The handgrips are also folded down when you first pull the scooter out of its box. You’ll only need to tighten and secure everything (no tool needed).
Performance for Dualtron Victor:
The Dualtron Victor features a dual 1800 Wh motor. You can choose whether to engage only one or both, but when you unleash the scooter’s full power it’ll be able to reach 50 mph!
The scooter feels stable and secure even at top speed thanks to its large deck and tires, suspensions, and strong structure. The throttle and brakes feel extremely responsive; everything is located on the handlebar so that you don’t have to loosen your grip to change a setting or a gear.
There are mainly two ways through which you can limit the Victor’s power: the first is by engaging only one of the two motors; the second is by switching the gears. Gears are basically three different speed modes and you can switch between them through the bottom-placed next to the display.
When you slow down the electric scooter in one of the two ways, you also lengthen its mileage. On the contrary, when you unleash the full potential, not only it becomes faster but even more powerful: it can climb hills with no difficulties (up to 23°).

Battery life
The Victor is the first Dualtron model to feature LG battery cells. In particular, it features LG 21700. Such a powerful battery can sustain the electric scooter’s activity for up to 46.6 miles.
However, if you ride at top speed and off-road, the distance will certainly shorten. But if you ride slowly and gently you can cover great distances with it!
How does it take to charge such a powerful battery? It depends on the charger you use and how many of them.
The charger that comes in the box is the standard one and if you only use that it’s going to take 20 hours to fully charge >(from empty). However, the scooter features two charging ports. If you purchase a second standard charger and use both, you can shorten the charging time to 10 hours.
However, there are also fast chargers available. In this case, it only takes 4 hours to fully charge your electric scooter (but, again, you have to purchase the fast charger separately).

Performance
The Dualtron Victor’s performances are just impressive. This is a fast and secure electric scooter. The suspensions and tires work together to provide the best stability and the large deck also contributes.
The mileage is also impressive: the Dualtron Victor has anything it takes to become an alternative and sustainable means of transport.
Tires
The Victor’s tires are premium. Not only are they wide and thick, but they are also versatile: suitable for both on and off-road paths.
Stability
The Dualtron Victor feels stable and comfortable when you ride, even at the fastest speed.
No assembly needed
When it comes out of its box, the Dualtron Victor requires you to tighten some parts, but it won’t require any tools. For being such a powerful device, it’s also extremely easy to use and maintain.
What we didn't like about Dualtron Victor Electric Scooter:
Charging time
When you spend almost $3K on an electric scooter, you don’t want to purchase an additional charger to have a decent charging time. 20 hours of standard charging time are just too much: it’s almost an entire day!
Conclusion
The Dualtron Victor isn’t exactly a cheap commuting electric scooter. It’s a real means of transport; maybe it’s not suitable to reach the bus or train stop, but it can certainly carry to work or school every day. If it fits your budget, its price is totally worth its impressive features!
